Merrybent Hill is a stunning luxury B&B situated in a rural location outside Slaidburn in the Forest of Bowland, with outstanding views to Pendle Hill and the Yorkshire Dales. A Grade II listed linear farmhouse thought to date from the late 17th or early 18th century, the house has immense character with stone mullioned windows, huge oak beams and log burning stoves.
Perfectly situated for visiting the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and the Lake District National Park, Merrybent Hill is located near to the quaint village of Slaidburn. We are only half an hour's drive from the Yorkshire 3 Peaks of Ingleborough, Penyghent and Whernside, and a mere 45 minutes drive from Kendal, gateway to the Lake District.
Our accommodation offers a stunning characterful bedroom with super-king bed, a seating area, and a luxurious contemporary bathroom with large bath and separate rain shower. We also have a double room with private bathroom. Daily housekeeping is included and we are on site 24 hours a day for any assistance guests may require.
At breakfast time enjoy a fantastic selection of fresh fruit, cereals, danish pastries, yoghurts and juices, followed by a hot breakfast with lots of choices, whilst sitting in front of the log burning stove and enjoying the amazing view to the South.
